The Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation has endowed a $25,000 scholarship at Madonna University that will provide tuition assistance to undergraduate students in the Hospice and Palliative Studies program. They have also provided an annual, renewable scholarship for a Masters or PhD level student. Madonna University’s program is one of the few degrees available in the United States that provides an interdisciplinary degree in end of life care. The Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation knows that by educating professionals in the field of end of life care, that they improve the quality of life for those in their care and in the community.
